This Privacy Notice describes how Turbo collect and process your personal information through Turbo. By using Turbo Services, you are consenting to the practices described in this Privacy Notice.

What Personal Information About Customers Does Turbo Collect? We collect your personal information in order to provide and continually improve our products and services.

Data collections and uses A. The data we collect Turbo collects data: provided by users to Turbo, such as during account creation created during the use of our services, such as location, app usage, and device data.

Data created during the use of our services. This includes: Location data (delivery person): We collect precise or approximate location data from drivers’ and delivery persons’ mobile devices when the Turbo app is running in the foreground (app open and on-screen) or background (app open but not on-screen).

Location data Manager. We collect precise or approximate location information from Manager and delivery person mobile devices if they enable us to do so via their device settings.

Turbo collects such data from the time a ride or order is requested until it is finished, and any time the app is running in the foreground (app open and on-screen). See “Choice and transparency” below for information on how the delivery person and Manager can enable precise location data collection.

Managers may use the Turbo app without enabling the collection of location data from their mobile devices. However, this may affect certain features of the Turbo app. For example, a Manager who has not enabled precise location data will have to manually enter their pickup address.

In addition, precise location data collected from a delivery person's device during a trip is linked to the Manager account, even if the delivery person's has not enabled precise location data to be collected from their device. This data is used for purposes such as receipt generation, customer support, fraud detection.

Transaction information: We collect transaction information related to the use of our services, including the type of services requested or provided; trip or order details (such as date and time, requested pick-up and drop-off addresses, distance traveled and items ordered); and payment transaction information (such as a restaurant’s or merchant's name and location, amount charged, and payment method).

Usage data: We collect data about how users interact with our services. This includes access dates and times, app features or pages viewed, browser type, and app crashes and other system activity.

Device data: We collect data about the devices used to access our services, including the hardware models, device IP address or other unique device identifiers, operating systems and versions, software, preferred languages, advertising identifiers, device motion data, and mobile network data.

Communications data: We collect data regarding phone, text or in-app communications between users that are enabled through Turbo’s apps. This includes date and time, as well as the content of text or in-app messages. We may also collect the content of phone calls solely where users are notified in advance that the call may be recorded.

Like many websites, we use "cookies" and other unique identifiers, and we obtain certain types of information when your web browser or device accesses Turbo Services and other content served by or on behalf of Turbo on other websites. Our physical stores may use cameras, computer vision, sensors, and other technology to gather information about your activity in the store, such as the products and services you interact with. For What Purposes Does Turbo Use Your Personal Information? We use your personal information to operate, provide, develop, and improve the services that we offer our customers. These purposes include:
Provide, troubleshoot, and improve Turbo Services. We use your personal information to provide functionality, analyze performance, fix errors, and improve the usability and effectiveness of Turbo Services.
Communicate with you. We use your personal information to communicate with you in relation to Turbo Services via different channels (e.g., by phone, email, chat).
Fraud Prevention and Credit Risks. We use personal information to prevent and detect fraud and abuse in order to protect the security of our customers, Turbo, and others. We may also use scoring methods to assess and manage credit risks.
Security We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of personal information.

User Rights Users have the right to access, correct, and delete their personal information. information and withdraw their consent at any time. To exercise these rights, some of the data can edit from the app, or users can contact us using the contact information provided in this privacy policy.

What About Cookies and Other Identifiers? To enable our systems to recognize your browser or device and to provide and improve Turbo Services, we use cookies and other identifiers.

Does Turbo Share Your Personal Information? Information about our customers is an important part of our business, and we are not in the business of selling our customers' personal information to others.

How Secure Is Information About Me? We design our systems with your security and privacy in mind.

We work to protect the security of your personal information during transmission by using encryption protocols and software. We follow the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) when handling credit card data. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards in connection with the collection, storage, and disclosure of customer personal information. Our security procedures mean that we may ask to verify your identity before we disclose personal information to you. Our devices offer security features to protect them against unauthorized access and loss of data. It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computers, devices, and applications. We recommend using a unique password for your Turbo account that is not used for other online accounts. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer.

What Information Can I Access? You can access your information, including your name, address, payment options, and profile information.

What Choices Do I Have? If you have any questions as to how we collect and use your personal information, please contact our Customer Service. Many of our Turbo Services also include settings that provide you with options as to how your information is being used.

As described above, you can choose not to provide certain information, but then you might not be able to take advantage of many of the Turbo Services.

You can add or update certain information on pages such as those referenced in What Information Can I Access? When you update information, we usually keep a copy of the prior version for our records. If you do not want to receive email or other communications from us, please adjust your Customer Communication Preferences. If you don't want to receive in-app notifications from us, please adjust your notification settings in the app or device.

In addition, to the extent required by applicable law, you may have the right to request access to or delete your personal information. If you wish to do any of these things, you may go to Data Privacy Queries. Depending on your data choices, certain services may be limited or unavailable.

Children’s Privacy These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided me with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do the necessary actions.

Conditions of Use, Notices, and Revisions If you choose to use Turbo Services, your use and any dispute over privacy is subject to this Notice and our Conditions of Use, including limitations on damages, resolution of disputes, and application of the law of Egypt. If you have any concern about privacy at Turbo, please contact us with a thorough description, and we will try to resolve it. Our business changes constantly, and our Privacy Notice will change also. You should check our websites frequently to see recent changes. Unless stated otherwise, our current Privacy Notice applies to all information that we have about you and your account. We stand behind the promises we make, however, and will never materially change our policies and practices to make them less protective of customer information collected in the past without the consent of affected customers.
